Pour désarmer le système, appuyez sur la touche de la télécommande.
1. La sirène émettra deux signaux sonores.
2. Le voyant DEL situé sur l’antenne demeurera éteint.
3. Si le verrouillage des portières à distance est installé, ceci déverrouillera également les
portières.
Alerted’intrusionviatélécommande
À la détection d’une intrusion via une portière, le capot, le coffre, le détecteur de chocs ou
l’allumage, la télécommande émettra des signaux sonores ou vibrera pendant environ 60
secondes. Au même moment, les indications « ALARM » et « PORTE / CAPOT / COFF / CHOCS
/ temps réel » (selon le type d’alarme) apparaîtront en alternance sur l’écran ACL. Les icônes de la
portière, du capot, du coffre et du détecteur de chocs, de même que le rétroéclairage rouge, se
mettront à clignoter (lorsque le « BLITE » est à ON).

L’utilisateur peut appuyer sur les touches ou pour arrêter l’alarme (à moins que le
désarmement en deux étapes ait été programmé – le fait d’appuyer une fois ne fait alors que
mettre la sirène en sourdine; l’utilisateur doit appuyer sur la touche deux fois afin de désarmer le
système).

Si votre système est installé avec l’option Verrouillage des portières à distance, vous pourrez
déverrouiller votre véhicule sans l’usage de vos clés.
Pour déverrouiller vos portières et désarmer le système :
1. Maintenez le bouton
enfoncé pendant environ 1 sec.
2. L’icône apparaitra sur l’écran.
3. La sirène émettra deux signaux sonores pour confirmer le déverrouillage des portières,
que la Fonction Antidémarrage est désarmée (si elle est installée) et que l’alarme est
désactivée.
Pour verrouiller vos portières et armer le système :
1. Maintenez le bouton enfoncé pendant environ 1 sec.

The user can press the or button to stop the alarm (unless TWO-STAGE Mode has been
programmed – one press then only mutes the siren; the user needs to press twice in order to
disarm the system).

If your system was installed with the Remote Door Locks option, you will have the convenience of
remote keyless entry.
To UNLOCK your doors and DISARM the system:
1. Press and hold the
button for approx. 1 sec
2. The icon will appear on the remote’s LCD screen
3. The siren will chirp twice to confirm that the doors have been unlocked, the Starter Kill
feature is disarmed (if it was installed) and that the Alarm is disabled.
To LOCK your doors and ARM the system:
1. Press and hold the button for approx. 1 sec.
2. The icon will appear on the remote’s LCD screen
3. The siren will chirp once to confirm that the doors have been locked, the Starter Kill
feature is enabled (if it was installed) and that the Alarm is armed.
RemoteTrunkRelease
If your system was installed with the Remote Trunk Release option, you can open your trunk by
pressing the button until the remote displays the text “TRUNK” on the screen. In addition, this
will also disarm the alarm.
IdleMode
Convenience feature: Idle Mode allows you to keep the engine running and the doors locked
while you stop, for example, at a convenience store or for a short delivery.
This feature allows you to let the remote starter take over control of the vehicle (i.e. no Key in the
Ignition Switch) while the engine is running.
Activating Idle mode (Automatic transmission):
1. With the engine running, make sure to release the brake pedal and press the , or
button on the transmitter until the parking lights come ON.
Note: SmartStart™ can be setup to use the SmartStart™ icon to activate Idle mode.
2. Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
The engine will continue running.
3. Exit the vehicle. All doors, the hood and trunk should be closed
4. Press the button to lock the doors, to arm the starter kill and to arm the alarm (if
available). The engine will continue running.
a. When re-entering the vehicle, the user must reinsert the key into the ignition and
turn it to the ON position (not Crank
) without pressing on the brake.
b. Once the key is in the ON position, press on the brake pedal to put the
transmission in gear. Pressing the brake pedal at this step will cancel the remote
starter takeover.
c. Drive off.
