DISH 500+ and DISH 1000+
• DISH 500+ views 110°, 118.7°, and 119°. DISH 1000+ views 110°, 118.7°, 119°,
and 129°. The dish antennas are the same.
• The DP 500+ LNBF Assembly includes two LNBFs. One LNBF receives signal
from 118.7° and 119°, while 110° is received from the attached DP Dual or Single
LNBF. Use a DP Plus 33, DP34, or DP Plus 44 Switch with the DISH 500+.
• DISH 1000+ uses a DP 500+ LNBF Assembly with a DISH 1000+ upgrade kit,
which is a bracket to attach a DP Dual or DP Single for reception of 129°. Use a
DP Plus 44 Switch with the DISH 1000+.
• Peak using 119° (P
ORT 2D). Maximize the signal on 118.7° (PORT 1F), then verify
signal on 110° (and 129°, for DISH 1000+).
• The following Legacy receivers do not have 118.7° software support: Models 1000,
3000, 4000, 5000, JVC-DVHS (IRR), and DishPlayer 7100/7200.
• Refer to DISH 500+ Repoint Kit for SuperDISH Type I for information on repointing
a Type I SuperDISH to function as a DISH 500+ or DISH 1000+.
