followed by a blinking ON. With the MEM
button, you can choose between ON (ther-
mometer stays in continuously standby
mode) and OFF (thermometer automati-
cally switches off approx. 1 minute after the
last button activity) and save the selected
setting with the SET button. The thermom-
eter will then switch to standby mode.
If ON was selected, it will remain in standby
mode continuously. If OFF was selected, it
will always switch off automatically after
approx. 1 minute of button inactivity.
• If you push the MEM button when
setting the values for the date and
time, the next higher value will be
set in each case. Holding the MEM
button down will quickly cycle
through the configurable values.
Releasing the MEM button will leave
the setting at the respective value
reached.
• To save energy, it is recommended
that you activate energy-saving
mode (see chapter “Energy-saving
mode”).
