The object temperature measured will ap-
pear on the LCD display.
If you would like to immediately switch
back to standby mode, you can push
the buttons (
) for ear measurement
and (
) for forehead measurement at
the same time. This will also be done
automatically after approx. 1 minute of
button inactivity.

Water or other liquids that have penetrated
the housing may cause a short circuit.
− Never submerge the thermometer in
water or other liquids.
− Make sure that no water or other liq-
uids penetrate the housing.
