NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the thermometer
may result in damage to the thermometer.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners,
brushes with metal or nylon bristles
or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils
such as knives, metal sponges and the
like. They could damage the surfaces.
− Never attempt to clean the thermometer
with a scouring agent, petrol or a solvent.
• For accurate measurements, it is
very important that the infrared
sensor of the thermometer is clean
and free of scratches.
• Clean and disinfect the thermome-
ter before handing it over to other
persons, to prevent diseases from
being transmitted.
1. Each time before performing a measure-
ment or if the “Clean” alert appears on the
display, check the infrared sensor and, if
necessary, carefully clean it with a cotton
swab soaked with a small amount of med-
ical alcohol and then immediately with a
clean, dry cotton swab (approx. 10 minutes
with 75% alcohol).
