If you do not use the thermometer for a pro-
longed period of time, please observe the
following notes:
− The thermometer requires no servicing.
− Take the batteries out of the battery com-
partment if you do not use the thermome-
ter for more than 3 months.
− Do not store the thermometer near heat
sources.
− Keep the thermometer away from chil-
dren, pets and pests.
− Do not expose the thermometer to direct
sunlight, fire, dirt, lint, dust, water, heat or
extreme temperatures to prevent damage
to the thermometer.
− Note the information regarding storage/
transport information: (see chapter “Tech-
nical data”).
− Do not place any heavy objects on the
thermometer.
− Do not allow the thermometer to fall, do
not expose it to shocks and do not throw it.
