General information
Reading and storing the user
manual
This user manual accompanies this
ear and forehead thermometer (re-
ferred to below only as the “ther-
mometer”). It contains important
information about start-up and handling.
Before using the thermometer, read the user
manual carefully. This particularly applies to
the safety instructions. Failure to read this
user manual may result in severe injury or
damage to the thermometer.
Store the user manual for future use. If you
pass the thermometer on to third parties,
please be absolutely sure to include this user
manual.
Proper use
The thermometer is only designed for measur-
ing the temperature of the human body in the
ear or on the forehead as well as for measur-
ing the temperature of liquids (e.g. milk or wa-
ter) or surfaces. The thermometer is intended
only for domestic and private use/application,
but not for commercial use.
The user is the proper operator of the ther-
mometer. Only use the thermometer as de-
scribed in this user manual. Any other use is
