on the LCD display along with the “food”
indicator to let you know that object tem-
perature measurement is activated.
4. Hold the probe tip with the infrared
sensor

so that it can measure the
temperature of the liquid or surface
within a distance of 0.39" (1 cm).
5. Now, push the button ( ) for ear measure-
ment

A signal tone will indicate that the mea-
surement has started. A signal tone will
sound twice after approx. 2 seconds indi-
cating that the temperature measurement
is complete.
