If no measurements have been saved,
the indicator (-- -°C) with the symbol
(
) will appear on the LCD display.
The following symbols may appear on the LCD
display when accessing the measurements in
the memory:
Symbol Explanation
Memory indicator for “Memory
mode”/memory access
PM
PM indicator (“post meridiem” =
afternoon in 12-hour mode)
Saved ear temperature
measurement
Saved forehead temperature
measurement
If you push the SET button down for
approx. 2seconds while the saved
measurement data is shown, the re-
spective temperature in the memory
will switch/be converted from °C (de-
grees Celsius) to °F (degrees Fahren-
heit) or vice-versa.
The switch from °C to °F is confirmed
by 1 short audio signal and the switch
from °F to °C is confirmed by 2short
audio signals.
