3. Hold the thermometer in the middle of
your forehead so that the push-on adapter
for measuring your forehead temperature
is gently resting on your forehead.
4. Hold the thermometer steady and
then push the button (
)for forehead
measurement.
A signal tone will indicate that the mea-
surement has started. A signal tone will
sound twice after approx. 2 seconds indi-
cating that the temperature measurement
is complete. The symbol (
)

and the
measured forehead temperature will ap-
pear on the LCD display
