CHECKING AND CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
Before checking and/or cleaning the air filter, scrupulously follow the indicated recom-
mendations.
When the equipment is used in dusty and/or humid environments, there could be a redu-
ced air flow to the motor. It is recommended that the frequency with which the air filter is
checked and cleaned is increased.
Never use the equipment when the motor does not have the filter cartridge or has a da-
maged cartridge: the motor could wear out quickly.
Do not reuse the filter cartridge if flaws (even minimal) or tears are found during a check.
To clean, do not use petrol, solvents, or any other type of flammable product.
To clean, do not use jets of compressed air with a pressure of more than 2÷2,5 bar.
Wear all the individual protection devices indicated to protect the respiratory tract (anti-
inhalation mask) and eyes (glasses).
Proceed as indicated.
1 - Switch the appliance off
and leave it to cool.
2 - Open the door (A).
3 - Unscrew the knob (B)
to disassemble the cov-
er (C).
4 -Unscrew the ring nut
(D) and extract the filter
(E) cartridge.
5 -Clean the cover C).
6 -Check that the seal on
the filter (E) cartridge is
not damaged and, if
necessary, replace it
with an original replace-
ment (see “changing
the air filter”). To carry
out a check, shine light
on the filter cartridge with a lamp and verify that there are no tears or other damage to
the paper membrane.
