2.3 INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTICES FOR THE OPERATOR
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF THE SAFETY AND
PREVENTION NORMS EXPOSED BELOW ARE NOT OBSERVED.
THE MANUFACTURER ALSO DECLINES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES CAUSED
BY THE IMPROPER USE OF THE MIXER OR FOR ANY MODIFICATION MADE WITHOUT
AUTHORIZATION.
The machines are manufactured in conformity with the “Machines Directive” 89/392 (and the following
modifications).
The most dangerous parts of the machine are the arms. The entrance to the arms and to the bowl is protected
by a protection guard (fig. 1), the dimensions of which are in conformity with the regulations.
When the protection guard is lifted or taken off, a safety device stops the machine automatically.
Furthermore the immediate stop of the arms is assured by a motor brake.
The operator must respect the following norms and advices in the use and the maintenance of the machine:
•
DO NOT USE the machine for needs and loads other than those indicated by the manufacturer;
•
EFFECT DAILY CONTROLS on the safety devices, on the level of the oil and on the general conditions
of the machine;
•
EFFECT an adequate daily cleaning;
•
TAKE THE NECESSARY MEASURES AND PRECAUTIONS when effecting the work of loading,
registration, replacements of parts, cleaning, repairing and maintenance, so that the machine or its parts
cannot be put in motion by others even accidentally;
•
DO NOT TAMPER with the protections and safety devices of the machine;
•
DO NOT REMOVE the protections and safety devices of the machine, if not for real working needs and
after having taken the necessary measures to reduce to the minimum level possible the danger that may
derive and which has been recalled in the present manual;
•
PUT BACK AGAIN the protections and safety devices as soon as the necessity of their removal has
stopped;
•
OBSERVE in the working rooms:
- The norms regarding signs and safety warning referred to the DD.PP.RR. 27/4/55, nr. 547 and the nr.
524 dated 8/6/82 and to the D.Lgs. 493/96 for Italy or those of the country where the machine is used;

the 75/439/EEC regarding the elimination of used oils;
•
INFORM WORKERS of the specific risks existing in working areas.
2.4 DISMANTLING AND DEMOLISHING THE MACHINE
If the machine must be dismantled and/or demolished, its components do not entail a degree
of danger that requires any particular precaution.
As to the electric and electronic parts one shall refer to the regulations contained in the Art.
13 of the Decreto Legislativo 25 July 2005, nr. 151 called “Attuazione delle Direttive
2002/95CE, 2002/96/CE e 2003/108 CE” about the reduction of the use of dangerous
materials contained in electric and electronic equipment and the relevant waste clearance.
Accordingly the operator shall bring the waste equipment to the authorized collecting units which will
collect the electrical and electronic waste differentially or the operator shall send it back to the reseller when
purchasing new equipment of the same kind.
The illegal clearance of the waste material will lead to the enforcement of the administrative sanctions
according to the D. Lgs. Nr. 22/1997 (article 50 and following of the D.Lgs nr. 22/1997).
