1. Combination lap-shoulder belts with free sliding
latch plates.
- The retractor on most lap-shoulder belts with free
sliding latch plates can be locked. Lap-shoulder
belts with lockable retractors can be used with a
car seat. Pull the vehicle belt all the way out, then
let it feed back in about 12 inches and pull out
again. If the belt cannot be pulled back out, the
retractor is locked.

Doona Infant Car Seat must stay securely
installed. If Doona Infant Car Seat cannot
be installed securely or will not stay securely
installed, try installing in a different vehicle
seating position or with the base and LATCH
system.
Not all vehicle belts can be used with child
restraints. Check your vehicle owners manual for
information on installation of child restraints in the
vehicle seating position chosen.
