Injection nozzle
1. General descriptions
Pressurized fuel delivered from the fuel injection
pump is sprayed into the combustion chamber past
the injection nozzle at proper spray pressure and
spray angle, then burnt completely to achieve effec-
tive engine performance.
2. Construction
3. Disassembly
a. Clamp the nozzle assembly and remove the noz-
zle holder.
b. Remove the nozzle nut and components inside.
4. Inspection
a. Visually inspect the disassembled components
for damage.
5. Reassembly
a. After removing carbon deposit, submerge the
nozzle in diesel oil and clean it.
b. Replace all the seal rings with new ones.
c. Assemble the parts and tighten them to speci-
fied torque
