N2001 Disassembled Service
1. Clean the primary and secondary valves with
soap and warm water to remove heavy-end
deposits. Inspect the valve seats and o-rings for
wear. Replace worn components as necessary.
2. Clean the primary and secondary diaphragms
with soap and warm water. Inspect for wear, tears
or pinholes and deformations that may cause
leaks or poor performance of the
regulator/converter.

3. Replace the body gasket of the coolant chamber
and body o-ring seal when servicing the N2001 to
avoid coolant leaks from the fuel expansion
chamber to the coolant passage.
4. Clean the regulator body (casting) with a parts
cleaning solvent. Be sure to remove all seals and
gaskets before cleaning the casting with solvent.
5. Make sure all parts (Figure R11) are completely
dry before re-assembly.
