Hint: During the base station calibration (suppose the base station
tripod height 1.5m), the zone within 1.5m from the base station is
the dead zone. Do not place the controller in the dead zone.
Hint: If the base station is moved after a successful calibration, it is
required to re-calibrate the base station.
Hint: If there is a large-area mirror surface in the gaming zone,
reflection interference will be caused to the laser signals of the
Polaris base station, thus the positioning effect will be compro-
mised. Please use dark-color cloth material to cover the mirror
surface appropriately.
Hint: During the following calibration process, make sure the
headset and both controllers are within the coverage of the base
station. If any of them is out of the base station coverage or the
controller is blocked by body or any item and cannot be traced by
the base station, the operation will not be done smoothly.
Hint: While playing a game, the zone within 0.5m from the base
station is the dead zone. Do not place the controller and headset
too close to the base station.
Preparations for base station calibration
Preparations for base station calibration
1. Check if the headset is connected.
2. For the single base station, make sure the base station is set as
the master (switch position at M) and the base station parameters
have been loaded. For the dual base stations, make sure the
master (switch position at M) and slave (switch position at S) base
stations have been configured and the base station parameters
have been loaded.
3. Make sure the left and right controllers have been paired and in
the connected status.
4. Make sure the base station has been mounted completely. The
location has been confirmed and will not be moved any more.
