Lubrication

Your DR FIELD and BRUSH MOWER was greased at the Factory. The operator needs to periodically

lubricate the Wheel Clutch Cable, Brake Cable, Belt Idler Arm, Drive Chain, and the Differential Lock

In/Out Cable and Sleeve Shaft.

Tools & Supplies Needed:

• Flexible hose grease gun

• Lithium grease

• 1/2" wrench or socket (chain cover)

• FLUID FILM

or comparable lubricant

BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE, STOP THE ENGINE AND DISCONNECT THE

SPARK PLUG WIRE(S).

Lubricate the Parking Brake cable, Wheel Drive Clutch cable and the Differential Lock In/Out cable with

FLUID FILM

or comparable lubricant. Spray the lubricant into the cable housing while working the cable

back and forth and few times. This should be done at both ends of the cables (Figure 10). Perform this

lubrication more often in dry and dusty environments.
