Selection of detectable Gases and
Vapours
The table below is not necessarily complete. It lists only
those gases and vapours that have been subjected to
performance testing complying with EN 60079-29-1.
The sensing heads can also detect other substances
not listed here. The typical sensor signals detected ap-
ply to unused sensors and can fluctuate by up to
± 30 %. The lower explosion limits given here are taken
from IEC 60079-20-1:2010, in specific regions, other
lower explosion limits may be compulsory.
