Testing
Checking the Inhalation Valve
1 Tightly pinch the exhalation hose with your hand. Use peg
spanner 16 28 089 of test set R 33 777 if required.
2 Pump slowly until
3 at least 10 mbar are indicated on test unit.
If the system does not reach 10 mbar:
● Replace inhalation valve or exhalation valve disc (see “Fit-
ting the Plug-in Coupling” on page 49).
The low pressure warning generated by the Sentinel during
this test is irrelevant here.
Checking the Exhalation Valve
1 Connect suction side of the pump to the test unit.
2 Tightly pinch the inhalation hose with your hand. Use peg
spanner 16 28 089 of test set R 33 777 if required.
3 Pump slowly until at least –10 mbar are indicated on the
test unit.
If the system does not reach –10 mbar:
● Replace exhalation valve or valve disc (see “Fitting the Plug-
in Coupling” on page 49).
