Information and Warning System
The thermal imaging camera has an information and warning system
which is displayed on the screen and described in the following (see
page 3, figure B).

The thermal imaging camera has two operating modes: normal mode
and fire fighting mode. The thermal image can be displayed in
different color palettes in the normal mode. For details see
“Operating modes” on page 14 and “Activating the color palettes in
normal mode” on page 14.
Icons
Firefighting mode indicator (18)
This icon indicates that the firefighting mode is activated.
Over-temperature warning (19)
This flashing icon indicates that the system electronics have
exceeded recommended operational thermal limits.
Zoom function (20)
This icon is indicated when the zoom function is activated.
Color palette indicator (21)
In the normal operating mode (ThermalScan is not activated) each
color palette will be indicated by a specific color palette indicator,
showing CP 01, CP 02...CP 06. See “Activating the color palettes in
normal mode” on page 14 for details.
NOTICE
If this icon appears, the camera should be taken out of the hot
environment.
WARNING
If you expose the thermal imaging camera repeatedly or for long
periods of time to high ambient temperatures without allowing the
thermal imaging camera time to cool down, the image quality may
be impaired, the thermal image may be lost, or the internal
components may be damaged.
Allow for a sufficient cool down time between missions in
environments with high temperatures.
