Troubleshooting
Camera
Fault Cause Remedy
ON/OFF Button was pressed, but camera
does not start up (no start up screen or
thermal image appears).
No battery or fully discharged battery
inserted.
Insert a fully charged battery.
Battery is over-discharged and the safety
circuit tripped.
Battery needs to be re-charged while
disconnected from the camera. Take battery
out of the camera and charge with a desktop
charger or use battery-only charging slot in
the truck charger. If charging does not work,
contact Dräger Safety.
ON/OFF Button was pressed and green LED
comes on for 5 seconds, but no start-up
screen or thermal image appears.
LCD screen is damaged. Return camera to Dräger Safety for service.
Thermal image is out of focus, shows
permanent lines, or is unstable.
Sensor system or optical system is defective. Return camera to Dräger Safety for service.
Battery capacity is not sufficient. Battery is only partially charged (not all bars
of the battery display are shown).
Insert a fully charged battery.
Battery is fully charged, but battery manager
does not show the real capacity of the pack.
Synchronize battery: Fully charge the battery.
Switch on the thermal imaging camera and
allow it to run without interruption at room
temperature until it automatically shuts down.
Fully charge the battery again.
Battery has aged to the point where the
capacity is not sufficient anymore.
Synchronizing the battery does not help.
Replace battery.
