5 CatEx-Sensor in den Anschluss des Kali-
brieradapters einstekken – Kodierung
des Steckers beachten!
6 Sensor mit Durchführung in den oberen
Anschluss der Kalibrierkammer einset
-
zen.
● Dräger X-am 7000 einschalten.
● Entsprechend Gebrauchsanweisung Ka-
librierkammer: Kalibriermedium in die Ka-
librierkammer eingeben und
Kalibrierkammer in Betrieb nehmen.
● Justierung der Empfindlichkeit durchfüh-
ren – Wartezeit bis zu einem stabilen
Messwert, siehe Sensor-Datenblatt.
● Dräger X-am 7000 ausschalten.
● CatEx-Sensor aus dem Anschluss der Ka-
librierkammer ziehen, Kalibrieradapter
aus dem Gerät ziehen und Sensor wieder
in das Dräger X-am
7000 einsetzen.
● Dichtplatte aufsetzen, dabei den richti-
gen Sitz der Dichtung kontrollieren.
● Sensorgitter aufsetzen und festschrau-
ben.
● Die gasspezifisch, gegebenenfalls geän-
derte Empfindlichkeit wird automatisch
vom Gerät berücksichtigt.
● Bei Messungen ohne Membrane kann
gasspezifisch eine höhere Empfindlich-
keit auftreten.

5 Plug the CatEx sensor into the connector
on the calibration adapter, noting the
coding of the connector!
6 Insert the sensor with feed-through into
the upper connector of the calibration
chamber.
● Switch on the Dräger X-am 7000.
● As described in the instructions for use
for the calibration chamber: fill the
calibration chamber with calibration
medium and switch on the calibration
chamber.
● Calibrate the sensitivity of the sensor.
See the sensor data sheet for the
necessary settling time for a steady
reading.
● Switch off the Dräger X-am 7000.
● Remove the CatEx sensor from the
connector of the calibration chamber,
remove the calibration adapter from the
instrument and plug the sensor back into
the Dräger X-am
7000.
● Mount plate with sensor membrane,
taking care that the gasket is correctly
positioned.
● Mount and secure the sensor grille.
● The instrument automatically includes the
gas-specific sensitivity which may be
changed.
● A gas-specific higher sensitivity might
occur in case of measurements without
membrane.
