      A zone tamper on your DSC Control Panel means there's a tamper condition on one or more wireless devices or an open circuit on zones with double end-of-line resistors enabled. Perform a Module Placement Test (Section [904]). Violate and then restore the tamper. If there's no test result, replace the wireless device. If there is an open circuit present on one or more zones with double end-of-line resistors enabled, remove the wire leads from Z and COM terminals, measure the resistance of the wire leads (an open circuit indicates a break in the wiring), and connect a 5.6K resistor (Green, Blue, Red) across the Z and COM terminals to see if the trouble clears.

      Module supervision issues on your DSC Control Panel occur when the panel doesn't communicate with modules on the KEYBUS or if a keypad is assigned to the incorrect slot. Modules are immediately enrolled and supervised when detected on the KEYBUS. To resolve this, view the event buffer (via DLS or LCD5500 keypad) to identify the specific module(s) in trouble. To reset module supervision, enter Program Section [902] and press [#] (wait 1 minute for the panel to scan the KEYBUS). Then, enter Program Section [903] to identify modules connected to the KEYBUS.

Try wiring the incoming line directly to TIP and RING. If the trouble clears, check the existing wiring or the RJ-31 phone jack.
