The platter
Thy effective rotating mass af the Dual 701 platter consists
af two parts, the rotor of me electronically-regulated direct
drive motor and the platter proper with a total weght of
44 kg. The dynamically balanced platter rests directly on
me rotor and is secured to it by gravity alone.
Important! Remove platter prior to each transport!
Adjustment of tonearm indexing
When the operating switch is moved to “start”, the stylus
descends automatically and sets down on the 1621-10) groove
at tha record. If the stylus of another cartridge, installed
later, sets down too far inside or outside the loaden groove,
adjustment can be made as follows.
Move the speed selector to "45", This makes the adjustment
screw visible. Then place a "7" (17 cm! record on the planer
and star: your Dual 701, If the stylus tip sets down too tar
nde the lead-in grooves, turn the adjustment screw to the
left. lf it sets dawn too far oulsde the lead-in grooves turn

Service
All lubrication points are adequately supplied with oil prior

any part of your Dual yourself, Should your player ever
require service, please take it to your Dual dealer, or ask
him for the address of the nearest authorized Dual service
station, Please make sure that only orginal Dual replacement
parts are used.

Plateau

descend trop à l'intérieur du disque, tournez 1a vis de röglage
vers la gauche, et si elle descend trop loin à l'extérieur,
toumez la vis à droite
Entretien
Tous les points de graissage sont suffisamment lubrifiés.
Ainsi en fonctionnement normal, votre appareil doit fonc-
tionner sans difficultés pendant de longuas années. N'essayez
pas de le graisser vous-même. Si votre appared о besoin d'une
révision, adressez-vous à votre revendeur au à un service
après-vente agréé par Dual. N'utilisez que des pièces de re
change Dual
Lors d'une expédition de l'appareil, veillez à ce que l'am-
ballage soit correct et urilisez si possible l'emballage d'ori-
gine.
