Beam setting
To check the headlight aim, place the motorcycle
upright with the tyres inflated to the correct pressure
and one person sitting astride the motorcycle. The
motorcycle should be perfectly vertical, with its
longitudinal axis at right angles to a wall or screen at
a distance of 10 metres.
Then draw a horizontal line dictated by headlamp
centre and a vertical one in line with the longitudinal
axis of motorcycle. If possible, perform this check in
dim light.
Switch on the low beam: the starting vertical
deflection angle shall range between -1% and -1.5%.
