3.3 Power supply
Connect the SensoWash
®
D-Code only to an electrical socket with the specified
connected load. Use a residual-current protector.
Make sure that the power cable and mains plug are not damaged.
The power cable must not become jammed or pinched. Keep the cable away from
hot surfaces and sharp edges.
Modifications to the mains plug or power cable may only be made by an expert.
After installation, make sure that the mains plug is accessible to the user and do
not use an extension cable which is not properly earthed.
Lay the cable so that it does not pose any risk of tripping.
To pull the mains plug out of the electrical socket, always pull on the plug, not the
cable.
Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
To disconnect the SensoWash
®
D-Code completely from the mains, unplug the
mains plug.
If despite this the power cable or mains plug still become damaged, do not re-
place them yourself. They may be replaced only by a trained, authorised expert.
Do not expose the SensoWash
®
D-Code directly to water.
Do not use the product if it is not working properly.
Disconnect it from the mains immediately.
Close the water cut-off valve to interrupt the water supply. Contact your plumber/
electrician or the Duravit customer service.
