Skip the wait and apply the Target Tune values right in
WinPV Software using Target Tune.
1 Open WinPV Software.
2 Click Open.
3 Browse to your .pvt fi le.
4 Select the fi le and click Open.
5 Click Target Tune.
Note: This feature is not available for all Harley-Davidson
software levels.
6 Save your new fi le as a .pvt.
7 Save this new fi le to your device.
8 Flash the new fi le to your bike.

READING THE ECM–POWER VISION
Use the following instructions to use the tune currently
fl ashed to your ECM.
1 Plug the Power Vision into the bike’s diagnostic port.
2 Turn the bike to the ON position (key ON, Run/Stop switch to
“Run”, engine stalled).
3 From the Power Vision Main Menu, select Program
Vehicle>Load Tune>Load Copy.
4 Select Load Copy of Current. Follow the prompts to read the
ECM.
5 Select a custom tune slot on the Power Vision to save the
“Copy of Current” tune.
6 Once saved, turn the key OFF.
7 Remove the Power Vision and bring it to a computer with
Dynojet WinPV software installed.
8 Connect a USB cable to the Power Vision.
9 After the Power Vision boots up and says “PC Link Mode
Active,” launch the WinPV software.
10 In the WinPV software, click Get Tune and retrieve the “Copy
of Current” fi le from the custom tune slot of the Power Vision.
11 After retrieving the tune from the Power Vision, save it to
your personal computer for safe keeping. You should assign a
fi lename to it at this point.
12 E-mail the saved fi le to pvtech@dynojet.com.

Note: You must use WinPV software 2.0.18 and Power Vision
fi rmware 2.0.19 or newer with Target Tune.
