• Keep the device clean at all times. Dust and dirt will cause the internal parts to wear
more quickly and the lifespan of the device may be reduced.
• Clean the housing with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
• Clean the ventilation slots with a brush, a vacuum cleaner or clean, dry compressed
air, if available.
• Clean and sharpen the attachments with the stone (15) which is also supplied.
Lubrication
• It is not necessary to lubricate any moving parts of the device.
Carbon Brushes
The carbon brushes of the motor may wear over time. This may cause the performance
of the motor to diminish, the motor to cut out for a short time or there may be visible
sparking.
• If you suspect that the carbon brushes are worn, have them replaced in an author-
ised specialist workshop.
Storage
• Store the device and accessories in a dry, clean place which is protected from the
effects of weather and temperature and is out of the reach of children and animals.
