ChlorineCalibration
The Free Chlorine Sensor (FCS) zero point and the slope (sensitivity) were calibrated at the factory
before shipping. Allow the FCA22 system to run for at least 1 hour before proceeding with the
calibrationcheck.Thispolarizationtimeisnecessaryforstablereadings andanaccuratezeropoten
tial.
Verify the displayed chlorine concentration agrees with the actual value.If further calibration is
necessary verify the temperature and pH readings are valid before beginning the standardizing
procedure.

.Theampero metricFCS
generates a nA current proportional to the chlorine concentration which is sent to the chlorine input
card. The chlorine input card sends a millivolt signal to the C22 proportional to the chlorine
concentration.
