What to do if Echo HC-1500 Type 1E engine cranks but won't start?

If your Echo Lawn and Garden Equipment engine cranks but doesn't start, there could be several reasons. One possibility is that there is no fuel at the carburetor, in which case you should clean it. Another reason could be that the muffler is wet with fuel, so you should open the choke, clean or replace the air filter, and adjust the carburetor. Also, check if there is a spark at the end of the plug wire, and if not, turn the switch on. Finally, check for spark at the plug; if there's no spark, adjust it to 0.65mm (0.026 in.), clean or replace the plug.
