8.7.20 EC55 (Outdoor IPM module temperature sensor fault) diagnosis and solution
Description: If the sampling voltage is 0V or 5V, the LED displays the failure code.
Recommended parts to prepare:
• IPM module PCB
• Connection wires
• Sensors
• Outdoor main PCB
Troubleshooting and repair:
If the radiator has no sensor, follow the steps below to resolve.
Does a problem remain? The unit is operating normally

YES
Check whether the fastening
screws on the PCB and
IPM radiator are fixed tightly
Tighten the screws and apply
silicon grease
NO
YES
Replace the IPM module PCB
If the radiator has a sensor(TH), follow the steps below to resolve,
Check the connection between
temperature sensor and PCB.
Is it within acceptable
parameters?
Is it properly wired? Ensure proper connections.
NO
Measure the resistance value
of the sensor.
YES
Replace the sensor.
NO
Replace the outdoor main PCB
Power off, then restart the unit after 2 minutes.
YES
