This manual is an integral and essential part of the product. It should be
kept with the appliance so that it can be consulted by the user and our
authorised personnel.
Please carefully read the instructions and notices about the unit con-
tained in this manual, as they provide important information regarding
the safe installation, use and maintenance of the product.
For operating instructions please consult the separate User’s Manual.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
This is a combined appliance for the production of central heating (C.H.)
and domestic hot water (D.H.W.).
This appliance must be connected to a suitable heating system and to
the Domestic hot water distribution net, according to its output and its
performances.
This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it is
designed.
The manufacturer declines all liability for damage caused by improper
or negligent use.
Installation, maintenance and every repair works must be carried out
according to the normes in force, following the manufacturer instruc-
tions. The installer must be qualifyed in installing heating systems in
compliance with national, local and all other standards which are cur-
rently in effect. Improper installation or negligent use can cause damage
to individuals, animals and personal property, for which the manufactu-
rer will not be held liable.
Do not allow children or inexperienced persons to use the appliance
without supervision.
If you smell gas in the room, do not turn on light switches, use the tele-
phone or any other object which might cause sparks.
Open doors and windows immediately to ventilate the room.
Shut the gas mains tap (on the gas meter) or the valve of the gas cylin-
der.
Do not place any objects on the appliance.
Do not obstruct the intake/discharge terminals.
Before carrying out maintenance it is necessary to turn off the main
switch to " 0 " position (OFF). The outer panels of the unit must only be
cleaned with soapy water. Do not use any emulsion cleaners or abrasi-
ves.
In the case of faults or failure, switch off the appliance and turn off the
gas tap. Do not tamper with the appliance.
The technical information and instructions provided here below are
intended for the installer so that the unit may be installed correctly and
safely.
