6.0 Maintaining & Servicing the System
Main dispenser power must be disconnected prior to maintaining or servicing the unit. Power switch must be set to “off” and
power cord must be removed from wall power socket.
Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye/face protection, gloves, and aprons, when
replacing chemicals or coming in contact with any liquid in the system.
Do not plug or unplug RS-485 cables when power is applied to the system. Do not apply power to the system until all
modules are properly addressed and all RS-485 cables and plugs (dongles) are properly connected to the modules.
6.1 Pump and Outlet Manifold Replacement Procedures
1. Power down Aquanomic EU by unplugging power cord on Pump Cabinet.
2. Remove front cover using key and keylock underneath the Pump Cabinet, front and center. Cover can be stored
between dispenser and the wall, resting on the wall mounting bracket to relieve strain of the grounding wire.
3. Disconnect washer valve’s discharge tubing from check valves.
Post-Flush water will drain out of the tubing. When disconnecting black sump drain hose elbow fitting from pump and
disconnecting the outlet manifold from pump, post-Flush water will drain out.
4. Disconnect black sump drain hose elbow fitting from inlet into pump.
5. Disconnect all (10) wires that go to the washer’s valves, conductivity sensors, and thermistor.
6. Remove (2) wingnuts located underneath the Pump Cabinet.
7. Lift up on Pump assembly and pull forward a few inches.
8. Reach behind the pump to access the cable connections.
9. Pull connections apart.
10. Finish pulling out pump assembly and bring over to table.
11. Carefully take pump assembly apart and repair parts as needed.
6.2 Electrical components behind I/O Board enclosure.
1. Power down Aquanomic EU by unplugging power cord on Pump Cabinet.
2. Remove front cover using key and keylock underneath the Pump Cabinet, front and center.
3. Looking underneath the Pump Cabinet, there are (2) wingnuts on the right side. Remove both wingnuts.
4. Above the I/O Board enclosure, there are (2) screws. Loosen these a few turns.
5. Slide enclosure to the left a small distance to dis-engage the screws. Now the enclosure can be rotated slightly to the
left- being careful with the 3 bundles of wires coming out the side of the enclosure.
6. You are now looking inside the compartment. You may now remove the metal shield by pulling it up slightly and then
taking it out.
Inside the stainless steel compartment, there is high voltage components. Please be careful when replacing parts.
