5.1 Initial commissioning
Following the correct proper setup, assembly and installation, you can commission the
metering station for the first time.
Initial commissioning includes the following tasks:
1. Ensure the commissioning requirements
2. T
est metering station in test mode
3. Prepare the metering station for productive operation
When using the system for the first time, proceed as follows:
– Check whether all system components are present and correctly
installed (see main operating instructions 417101649 Dosing station
ECO,
Ä
Table on page 3). Document this in writing in the transfer log.
– Document the conformity of the system after the test.
– Commissioning is only permitted to be carried out by authorised
personnel.
WARNING!
Commissioning should be performed using an appropriate test medium for
commissioning. T
o identify an appropriate test medium for commissioning,
please contact the suppliers of the metering medium, thus preventing
negative interaction between the metering medium and the commissioning
test medium.
5.1.1 Ensure the commissioning requirements
Proceed as follows:
1. Check that the ambient conditions conform to our technical specifications (see
Ä
Chapter 4.1 ‘Check installation requirements’ on page 36).
2. Check that the power supply conforms to the relevant specifications on the type plate
of the metering station as well as the circuit diagram.
3. Check that the system components have been set in accordance with the
corresponding operating instructions (see appendix of the main operating manual
(417101649 Dosierstation ECO,

4. Check that your metering medium conforms to the relevant specifications on the
metering station type plate (.
5.1.2 Test metering station in test mode
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the test medium to the metering station.
2. Switch on the metering station
(see

Chapter 5.2.1 ‘Switching the metering station on and off’ on page 45).
3. Power up the entire system by activating the system control of your overall system.
