7. Control System DryExx Advanced

7.1 Brief overview of configuration
The DryExx Advanced
®
enables the configuration of the following parameters: For the
metering station in the ‘General Parameters’ menu item:
• The free allocation of 16 valves to the required system
• Number of packages per impulse of the optional meter
• System pre-tensioning time
Ensures that all circuits are supplied with the same output pressure for the
conveyor belt lubricant
• System bleeding time
Ensures that there is no leakage on the nozzle fittings
• Delay time for the ‘empty’ detector function
No error message during a normal drum change
• Number of impulses of the optional oval gear meter
• Quantity of belt lubricant per impulse for the optional oval gear meter
Configuration of the following parameters: For each lubricating circuit in the ‘Circuit
Parameters’ menu item:
Impulse time for spraying
Pause time for spraying
Manual start of one impulse time by means of interrupting the pause time for each
lubricating circuit
NOTE
All options are displayed in plain text on the various screens. Follow the instructions
displayed.
7.2 Initial configuration
CAUTION
This warning applies to all points in chapter 7.2 Initial Configuration.
• You must carry out valve allocation as described in chapter 7.3.8.1.2.1 Valve
assignment for the start-up procedure. If you have not carried out valve allocation,
you cannot access the parameter sets.
• Each valve can only be allocated once.
• The following passwords are set when the system is delivered:
Ecolab 7777
Customer 5555
Operator 3333
• During the initial configuration, these passwords must be changed in accordance
with customer specifications. For more information, see chapter Passwords. If the
passwords are not changed, procedure-relevant functions of the control system can
be accessed by unauthorised personnel.
CAUTION
Failure to observe any of the start-up points listed in section 2.4 Initial Configuration will
result in the invalidation of the guarantee.
