1. Switch off the oximeter and take out
the batteries.
2. Wipe the entire exterior surface,
including the screen, of the equipment using
a soft cloth dampened with the cleaning
solution thoroughly until no visible
contaminants remain.
3. After cleaning, wipe off the cleaning
solution with a fresh cloth or towel
dampened with tap water until no visible
cleaning agent remains.
4. Dry the oximeter in a ventilated and
cool place.
Disinfecting
For devices or accessories that have been in
contact mucosal surface, High Level
disinfection must occur, for all other
accessories, low level disinfection is
appropriate. Clean the oximeter and
