7.2.4 Starting the test operation
This function is not present for the types 1000RM / 1500RM.
Before you start the test operation, you should consider the following
points:
Inform involved employees of your action.
For the sake of caution, please make a backup copy of all the data of
the connected loads.
Leave all the loads turned on so that the load behaviour remains.
Make sure that the UPS is in the mains operating mode.
Press both the key "Menu selection" and "Menu up" for 3 sec. to
switch to test operation.
Such action in this operating mode is only a function test of the UPS. The dis-
play of the battery capacity is only a measurement of the charged state of the
battery bank at this moment. A statement about the overall capacity of the bat-
tery bank or the connected total support period cannot be derived from this.
7.2.5 Communication
Appropriate software packages are necessary for the exchange of data
between the UPS and a superordinate system. Please see the service spec-
trum in the chapter "Software."
