9. Eliminating Errors
Only authorised professional staff are to perform work for eliminating er-
rors on the UPS system.
Problem
Possible cause
Remedy
No function,
no display,
no warning.
The mains is not pre-
sent or not switched
on for the UPS.
Make sure that all the
cables are connected
and confirm this
through the appropri-
ate voltage measure-
ments. Switch on the
circuit breaker of the
UPS.
The UPS cannot be
started, no warning.
The ON key was not
pressed long enough.
Press the ON key for
a length of approx.
2 - 3 sec.
The UPS is in bypass
operation, the "Fault"
LED lights up, the
display shows "Over-
load fault," an acoustic
warning sounds.
The UPS is overload-
ed on the load side.
Separate the loads or
a portion of the loads
from the UPS until the
load display <= 100 %
is showed.
The UPS is in bypass
operation, the "Fault"
LED lights up, the
display shows "Temp.
fault," an acoustic
warning sounds.
The UPS has over-
heated.
Shut down the UPS,
remove the connected
loads and inform our
service team.
