  If your EINHELL Water Pump fails to prime, consider the following: * Ensure the intake valve is submerged in water; place it in the water if it isn't. * The pump chamber might be empty. Fill it with water through the filler neck. * There could be air in the intake line. Inspect for leaks and seal them. * The intake cage (intake valve) might be blocked. Clean the intake cage. * The maximum intake head might be exceeded. Check the intake head and reduce it if necessary.

  If the EINHELL Water Pump has an insufficient pumping rate: * The intake head may be too high. Check and reduce it if needed. * The intake cage might be dirty. Clean the intake cage. * The water level could be falling rapidly, causing the intake line to come out of the water. Place the intake line at a deeper level. * Deposits might be reducing the pump's performance. Clean the pump.
