Prior the boat disposal (after end-of-life cycle) the owner needs to identify all legal
requirements that are applicable to this environment aspect. Since our boats are generally
sold worldwide, this may include:
National and international legal requirements;
State / provincial / department legal requirements;
Local government legal requirements.
Your sailing boat is a highly complex product, with many different sub-systems and installed
sub-products, therefore we suggest contacting applicable authorities for further information.
Additional special care needs to be taken for more aggressive items, such as batteries, fuels
and cooling agents, engine fluids etc., which should be disposed according to the suppliers
instructions.
In some areas boat disposal companies are also available, which will help you to dispose a
product in a right and environment friendly way.
