7.2 Sanitization
Micra should be sanitized once a year. This should be done when the Purication Cartridge is
nearing exhaustion.
During the sanitization cycle a CS1 disinfection tablet is used. A safety data sheet conforming to COSHH
regulations is provided with the tablets and should be read before the tablet is used.
1) TURN system off.
2) UNSCREW carbon lter housing then remove carbon lter.
3) ADD CS1 tablets to housing then allow to dissolve.
4) REPLACE the lter housing (Do not install a new carbon lter).
5) DIRECT Puried Water outlet to Drain.
6) TURN on system for 1 hour.
7) TURN off system. EXCHANGE the Filters and the Purication Cartridge. Refer to page 7
for DI pack installation.
8) RECONNECT Puried Water outlet. System is ready for use.
