provided inside the installed unit for future reference.

INSTALLER
NOTE: It is common practice to ground electrical hardware such as telephones, computers and other devices
to available water lines. This can, however, cause electrical feedback in the plumbing circuit, which
results in an “electrolysis” e󰀨ect occurring in the fountain. This may result in water which has a
metallic taste to it or has a noticeable increase in the metallic content of the water.
When inspecting plumbing circuit, remember the line may be grounded some distance from the
installation, and may occur outside the building or area in which the unit is being installed.
This condition can be avoided (in most cases) by using recommended materials during installation.
Any drain ttings provided by the installer should be made of plastic which will electronically isolate
the fountain from the remainder of the building’s plumbing circuits.

Operating outside this pressure range (below 20 PSI or above 105 PSI) is not covered under warranty.

• Drain Installation for Overflow Prevention: The installation of a drain basin is highly recommended to prevent basin overflow. The process involves removing the drain basin, drilling a hole, installing a strainer with an O-ring, and connecting it to a drain adapter and flexible drain hose. Plastic drain fittings are recommended to electronically isolate the fountain from the building's plumbing circuits, preventing "electrolysis" effects that can cause metallic taste or increased metallic content in the water.
• Orifice Assembly Maintenance: Mineral deposits on the orifice can cause water flow to spurt or not regulate. These deposits can be removed by carefully poking with a small round file (not over 1/8" diameter) or a small diameter wire. A caution is provided against filing or cutting the orifice material.
• Stream Regulator Replacement: If the orifice is clean but flow regulation is still an issue, the stream regulator may need replacement. The parts list provides the correct regulator part number for this purpose.
• Filter Head Assembly: The unit can be equipped with a WaterSentry® Plus filter, which requires periodic replacement. The filter head assembly (Part No. 51300C or 51469C) is designed for easy replacement.
• Component Accessibility: The design allows for access to internal components for servicing. For example, the push button and regulator are accessible for stream height adjustments. The bottom cover plate and back panel can be removed for access to the internal plumbing and electrical connections.
• Leak Checks: After installation and any maintenance, it is crucial to turn on the water supply, bleed any trapped air from the system, and re-check for any water leaks to ensure proper sealing and operation.
