Finally, inspect and clean the rubber orifice in the flow control, which is situated below the frost line in the bushing between the barb fitting and valve.

      If your Elkay Outdoor Fountain has continuous flow, first, make sure the push button isn't stuck or obstructed and springs back properly. Then, remove the four screws securing the plastic diaphragm block to the valve body and pull out the plastic and rubber diaphragm assembly. Check the tiny hole in the rubber diaphragm for any debris and clean it. Inspect the valve seat for grooves. If the valve seat is okay and the diaphragm hole was clear, check the rubber button at the center of the floating steel disc in the valve diaphragm block assembly. If it's worn, either turn the disc over or replace it. If the diaphragm and seats are in good condition, stretch the spring slightly. Finally, ensure the air bleed port on the valve plastic block assembly is not plugged.

      If your Elkay Outdoor Fountain has no flow, check the air tubing from the push button to the valve for leaks. Ensure the air tubing compression nut is hand tight. Disconnect the air tube from the push button, place your finger over the air outlet, and push the button to test the diaphragm. Tighten the diaphragm cap screws, and if necessary, replace the diaphragm.
