All
the
sewing
jobs
that
can be
performed
on
the
ELN A
straight
stitch
machine
and
the
ELNA
Zig
Zag
can
also
be sewn
with
the
ELNA
Special.
The
overcasting,
the
serpentine
st
r
etch-stitch,
the
blind
stitch
and
the
shell hem
complete
these
possibilities
and
allow
for
greater
sewing
con-
venience, a
finer
finish
and
quicker
execution.

Patching
Cover
the
damaged
part
with
a patch.
Sew
with
the
serpentine
stitch
around
the
edges
of
the
patch.
Then
cut
out
the
defective
portion
of
the
original,
close
to
the
serpentine
stitching.
With
this
simple
method
the
patching
is
done
in
one
operation
and
extra
thicknesses
or
fell
seams
are avoided.

Proceed in exactly

same way,
but
it
is
preferable
to
make
the
patch
circular
and
to
sew
it
on
about

edge.
Then
cut
off
the
loose
edges

original
material.

one
fold

made and
sewn
