2.10. INPUT 2 BOARD
There are two types of Input 2 Board
• Type 1 Original type (3 wire PRT Input) ASSY2000-3-080
• Type 2 New Type (4 wire PRT Input) ASSY 2000-3-180
Both types are functionally interchangeable , However care should be taken regarding the Terminal Connections which are
different See Appendix 4 for details.
When fitted the Input 2 Board ASSY2000-3-080 can be configured for three different uses as follows:-
• Normal Input Board
This function assumes operation for gas measurement where all input functions, from pulse generating devices, such as
Turbine meters, and all Status input as well as all transducer measurements are defined by the operator and no pre-
determined functions are defined.
• Liquid Meter Input Board
This functions assumes that the Model 2000 flow computer is connected to a Liquid Turbine Meter with two inputs A and
B this function is preset and cannot be altered by the operator. This function is not defined in this manual see Manual
type M2000-230.
• Prover Input Board
This function assumes that the Model 2000 Prover flow computer is connected to other flow computer prove outputs
and prover loop switch functions. This function is not defined in this manual see Manual type M2000-230.
When fitted the Input 2 Board ASSY2000-3-180 can be configured for three different uses as follows:-
• Normal Input Board

determined functions are defined. Direct 4 wire PRT measurement is selected and Link LK16 is fitted in position 1-2.
Prover output must not be used.

This functions assumes that the Model 2000 flow computer is connected to a Liquid Turbine Meter with two inputs A and
B this function is preset and cannot be altered by the operator. Direct 4 wire PRT measurement is selected and Link
LK16 is fitted in position 1-2. This Input Board function is not defined in this manual see Manual type M2000-230.
• Prover Input Board
This function assumes that the Model 2000 Prover flow computer is connected to other flow computer prove outputs
and prover loop switch functions. Prover Output function is selected and Link LK16 is fitted in position 2-3. This Input
Board function is not defined in this manual see Manual type M2000-230. Direct 4 wire PRT input must not be used.
Input 2 Boards are provided with two status LEDS on the top edge adjacent to the motherboard connector with the following
functions
LED 1 LED2 Function
Fast Flash On Dual Port memory fault
Fast Flash Off Programmable device fault
Off Fast Flash ADC Device Fault
Slow Flash On Hart Loop 1 problem
On Slow Flash Hart Loop 2 problem
Slow Flash Slow Flash All functions OK
Fast Flash Fast Flash Unknown state
All other state combinations have no function.
