APPENDIX 3h Instromet ENCAL 3000 Chromatograph.
The Model 2000 will read the following information from the Encal 3000 using modbus function 03.
Address Function Meanings Alarms

3103 Security Register
1 = Protected Acc Security Alarm
Registers 6989 - 6994 and 6996 - 6998 are general information registers. Register 6995 is used to indicate a calibration
alarm from the Encal 3000, and register 3103 is used to indicate a security alarm from the Encal 3000.
The order of the variables in the modbus listings of the Encal 3000 must match the order of the components found in the
“Encal Component Codes” tab of the Model 2000 Configuration Software. This allows for quick and easy changing of one or
many components.
Depending on the stream number read at location 6997, the Encal will read the corresponding streams gas data. Stream 1’s
data can be found at addresses 7000 - 7024, stream 2 from 7200 - 7224, stream 3 from 7300 - 7324 up to stream 6 at 7600 -
7624.
