It is recommended that crimped and soldered lugs are used to connect the
AIS transceiver to the power source using a suitable circuit breaker and/or 3A
fuse block. The red and black wires as shown in Figure 7 need to be
connected as follows:
1. Connect the red wire to a 12V or 24V power supply positive terminal.
2. Connect the black wire to the supply negative terminal.
