PROCEDURES OF MAKING BUTTONHOLES
1. Set Buttonhole Dial (B) to the mark
"Ih" then the machine will begin to
make the left side. Continue stitching
until the bottom of the desired button-
hole is reached (STEP 1).
2. Turn Buttonhole Dial to the mark
2-4" and start machine slowly,
After 5 or 6 stitches, the lower bar
tack will be completed (STEP 2).

3.TurnButtonhole Dial to the mark
3" so that the machine makes
right side (STEP 3).
4. Turn the dial to the mark 12-4"
and make the upper bar tack by
sewing 5 or 6 stitches (STEP 4).
5. When the bar tack is finished, stop
the machine by grasping hand wheel
with right hand.
6. Remove the completed buttonhole
from the machine and cut the hole
with seam ripper provided in the
accessory box.
