Buttonholes can be made fully by turning the buttonhole dial (B).
1. Change the regular presser foot to the buttonhole foot.
2. Set the stitch length dial (C) at B. H
3. Set the zig zag dial (A) at #5

When making buttonholes in very thin material, it is advisable to place a sheet of news-
paper or any other thin paper underneath the material. This will keep your work from
gathering.
When elastic material like knit fabric is sewn, push the built-in darner half-down. (See
page 11-Fig. 26)
