Two-piece, disposable neutral electrode.
The devices made by EMED are equipped with
neutral electrode application monitoring
system NEM (Neutral Electrode Monitor)
. Using disposable two-piece neutral electrodes in
combination with the NEM system guarantees continuous monitoring of the neutral
electrode's adhesion and assures maximum security during the procedure.
•
When using disposable electrodes always check their use-by dates. Never use
electrodes after their use-by dates.
•
Disposable electrode can only be used once.
•
Disposable electrodes should be applied carefully.
•
When applying the neutral electrode make sure that it faces the operative field with its
longer side. This requirement does not apply to the disposable TwinSafe electrodes
which can be applied in any position.
•
Check the neutral electrode application and cables after every change of the patient’s
position.
•
After the electrode has been applied it should not be transferred to another place.
•
In case of changing the aplication place new electrode is required..
•
Be careful not to damage patient's skin while removing disposable electrodes. Do not
use force to remove the electrode. It should be unstuck carefully.
Doctors' experience indicates that it is best to protect patients from burns by
using electrodes that are splitted and disposable.
